Join nowI am using QB pro 2016. I removed the restrictions before receiving the accountants changes. How do I open the accountant changes file to manually make changes? Thanks for your time and help
Hello, @pedalbiker53.
Once you remove the restrictions, the initial Accountant's Copy you've created in QuickBooks will also be voided. Also, once the restriction has been removed, the changes in the current Accountant's Copy will not be imported to the company file.
On the other hand, you can import the changes your accountant made into your account and automatically update your company file. You can refer to this article for step-by-step instructions: Import your accountant's changes into your company file in QuickBooks Desktop.

I need to open the accounts changes file so I can manually enter the changes. I can not import the changes file
I need to open the accountant changes file to put changes in manually. I can not import the file
Hello again, @pedalbiker53.
Right now, manually adding the accountant changes isn't an option. As mentioned by my colleague @IamjuViel, you can import the changes made by your accountant into your account and automatically update it to your company file.
For guidance on how to complete the process of importing, you can open the article provided above.
I can see how adding this option could help your business exemplify its style. I'll be sure to submit feedback, which is sent to our Product Development Team when considering features to introduce in software updates. QuickBooks is constantly improving thanks to the ideas provided by users, like yourself.
