Pay a bill without printing check

I'm happy to walk you through in paying a bill without printing a check.

Please follow the steps I've laid out below:

1. Click the Plus sign icon at the top, then choose Pay Bills.
2. Remove the check in the Print Later box.
3. Enter a number in the Starting check no. box.
4. Select the bill you want to pay.
5. Click Save and close.

Does this mean that you will eventually have to print a check for that if pay later is selected?

I'd like to share additional information on how QuickBooks Online pays a bill without printing the physical check.

If you've provided your vendor or customer with the physical check, it's not necessary for you to print the check that you've recorded in QuickBooks anymore. For tracking purposes, you may enter or assign the actual check number on the check you've written in QuickBooks.
