Posted receipt to wrong customer-not an invoice-a receipt. Then did a JE that I thought would move it. It did not. Without deleting deposit, can I move to correct cust?

Glad to have you here in the Community. Changing the customer associated with a Sales Receipt is super easy and only takes a couple clicks. Check it out:

 

  1. Go to Sales on the left menu.
  2. Look for the Sales Receipt and click to open.
  3. In the Customer drop-down, select the correct customer.
  4. Click Save.

 



That's it! For more information on modifying existing transactions, I recommend: How to edit a payment or sales receipt that has been deposited
