reports and why parking and tolls does not show up on the business expenses report...its not a line item and not shwoing

I put tolls and parking as business expense and it is not showing up on the business expense report when I print it?  Would it be under a different category?  I input it under business and parking and tolls

Thanks for visiting the Community today, @rlarson4052. You can run a Business and Personal Expenses report to see the transactions under car or auto and truck.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. On the page that appears, set the date for the Business and personal expenses report and click on the View link beside it.
  3. Look for the Car and truck category under Business expenses
  4. Click on the amount beside it.
  5. You can find the Parking and tolls and all other transactions that you’ve categorized under Schedule C: Car and truck on the Transactions page.

These are the transactions that are tagged under Car and Truck:

  • Vehicle insurance
  • Vehicle loan interest
  • Vehicle loan
  • Vehicle repairs
  • Gas and fuel
  • Parking and tolls
  • Vehicle registration
  • Vehicle lease
  • Wash and road services

You'll want to check this article for more insights about the expenses related to the business use of your vehicle: Schedule C: Car and truck.

I'm always around here if you need more help in getting the report that you need. Take care!

Hi @rlarson4052,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about running reports on parking and tolls you had yesterday. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification?

If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
