Customizing reports is just an easy step to go through, Jacob. And I can help how to do this in QuickBooks.

You're in the right place for answers. I'll make sure that you can personalize any QuickBooks Online (QBO) reports without a moment's delay.

Please note that every report in QuickBooks has different rows and columns to customize. You can apply multiple filters to customize your report. To do this, follow the steps below: 

1. Go to the Report tab on the upper left side. 
2. Open the report you want to personalize and click the Customize button. 
3. Customize the following sections:

• General: You can change the accounting method, reporting period, and number format.
• Rows/Columns: Choose which rows and columns appear on the report.
• Filter section: Select which customers, distribution, vendors, accounts, and products appear on the report.
• Header/Footer:  Decide what appears in the header and footer.

      4. Choose Run report. 

      5. Click Save customization and type a name. You can add them to a group and share them with other users or a Community page. 

      6. Select Save. 

Once done, you'll see all the templates in the Custom reports. From there, you can set a date to send to your customers or accountant. For the complete steps, see this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks.
