You may need to uninstall and reinstall your app to resolve this issue. Let me guide you through the steps.

 

To refresh the "stay signed in" option, you can uninstall and reinstall the app.

I've also noticed that you can't add another tab to work between more than one client account when using QBOA in a browser.  While it works with the app, the app keeps freezing up/timing out and I have to constantly shut it down and restart it.

In QuickBooks, when working on multiple clients, you'll need to open each account on separate browsers. I can add some details about this.

 

Opening separate browsers for each client account prevents you from being logged out.

 

Also, let's reset your apps data as an initial troubleshooting step. This way, you'll know if this behavior is caused by the overloaded data on the app.

 

To reset your app's data, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Help from the menu bar.
  2. Choose Reset App Data.

Thanks Alessandra!  I reset the app data - it still does the same thing.  

 

New question:  How do I start a new topic?  I can't find how to do so anywhere.

I'd like to help share some information regarding this issue.

 

We are currently checking into this issue as to why the user is not staying logged in as expected. Our Engineering Team is working on identifying the root cause to help resolve this issue as soon as possible. 

 

In the meantime, I'd suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support so they can pull up your account in a safe environment and sign you up to receive email updates as soon as they become available.

 

Also, to start a new topic, make sure you are logged in to the QuickBooks Community home page. Then click the QuickBooks Q&A and select your topic area. Click on the Start a Discussion button to post your question.
