The app will not allow me to save invoices?

We can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix this, jwykle.

It could be that the accumulated cache in the system is the reason why you're not able to save the invoices. You can follow the steps below if you're using the QBO Desktop App for Windows:

  1. Click the Help menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the Reset App Data option on the drop-down selection to delete the junk files.

If you're referring to the QBO mobile app, please follow these steps.

For Android:

  1. Open the Settings of your phone.Tap the Storage heading to open its settings page.
  2. Tap the Other Apps heading to see a list of your installed apps.
  3. Find the QuickBooks Online app, then tap its listing.
  4. Tap the Clear cache button.

For iOS:

  1. Open the Settings of your phone.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage
  3.  Find the QuickBooks Online app, then tap its listing.
  4. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.

In the meantime, you can access QuickBooks Online through a web browser then create the invoice from there.

In case you need a report that lists all invoices that are due on a date range, you can visit this article in customizing the Transaction Detail By Account report.

Let me know how it goes in the comment section, as I want to ensure that you can successfully save your invoices.
