troubleshooting transaction rules - cannot edit *already tried a different browser*

I cannot edit ANY rule keywords or description, and even though i uncheck the "match exact" when creating the rule, the "exact" is always inserted in the rule after i save it. Also, I can delete a rule from the official list (as in, it will disappear), but I cannot create a new rule - not from master rule list page or inline within transaction list) for the same criteria. I would like to override old rules that were errors and apply a new rule to all (past and present), but I get the same error for any version of a rule pertaining to the deleted ones: "A Rule for the same criteria already exists" AND I ALREADY TRIED PERFORMING IN A DIFFERENT BROWSER to no avail.

First of all, I appreciate the steps you've done to get this working. I tried on my end, and I was able to create a new rule without the "exact" word inserted after saving. I also check if there's an ongoing issue about this but there isn't currently one.

 

Since you're still getting the same issue after performing some troubleshooting steps, I highly recommend reaching out to our Support Team. They have tools that can check your account and further investigate this for you. Here's how:

 

1. On your QBSE account, click the Help menu at the upper right, then select Contact Us at the bottom.
2. Fill in Ask a question (or tell us what’s wrong), then Continue.
3. Choose Chat.
