Join nowHi Julia,
This appears to be an issue in the browser connection. We can do the basic-browser troubleshooting steps to refresh your connection.
To start, you can log in to QuickBooks in a private window and see if the widget is there. This step will block the cache from saving new data, and it’s a good initial step to check connection issues. If the widget reappears, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If you still don’t see it, you can try other browsers to isolate the case.
Please feel free to share an update after doing the steps above.
That doesn't seem to be the issue. I use Chrome, so I tried an incognito window and the widget was not there. I also used Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge, which I never use, and the widget is not there with those either. Any other ideas?
I can show you other options on how to connect to Online Bill Pay, julia21.
First, we can access the Apps menu and select which third-party application we'll want to use in paying bills online. Here's how:
Another way is to go to the Expenses menu and click Pay Bills at the upper-right. Click the Pay bills directly from QuickBooks link.
You can check out these articles that will help you manage bill payments:

Are you saying there is no solution to get the widget back on my dashboard? The APP is already in use and I know how to access it from the expense screen. Its way more convenient to have it on the dashboard.
Thanks for your help!
I acknowledge the convenience of having it on the Dashboard, @julia21.
Currently, our product engineers are working its best to fix the issue. The case code is INV-43010, where some customers found the widget missing from the Dashboard of QBO.
For the meantime, you can apply the steps provided by Catherine_B by going to the Expenses menu and click Pay Bills at the upper-right. Click the Pay bills directly from QuickBooks link.
Or, by going to + New on the upper right and then select Pay bills. Click the Pay bills directly from QuickBooks link.
This way, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support to attach your account to the investigation. Once ascribed, you'll be notified via email when the engineers have fixed the issue.
