Hi there, PG36.

I've tried this on my end, and it seems everything is working fine. I suspect that this might have something to do with a browser issue.

Sometimes, a QuickBooks feature will not be responding properly. The common reason why it happened is caused by having too much cache in our browser. We can do some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue throughout the process. Consider trying the things below to sort it out:

  1. Refresh your browser by clicking the Reload icon or pressing F5 on your keyboard.
  2. If the same thing happens, log in to your account through an incognito window. This mode doesn't store cache that's why we recommend using it.
  3. Once logged in, let's edit the check's description one more time. If it works fine, go back to your main browser and clear the cache. This helps remove any browser-related issues and refresh your browser's settings.

Aside form that, you can other compatible browser's in QuickBooks Online. Below are the things that you can try on:

  • Mozilla
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • For Safari, make sure to use the latest one.
