Why can't we create Sales Receipts directly from a project? We can create practically everything else. Could we also filter transactions by Sales Receipts?

Why can't we create Sales Receipts directly from a project? We can create practically everything else. Could we also filter transactions by Sales Receipts?

Hello there, midatlantictemp3.

 

Most of the transactions created in a project are not paid on time. This is why you're unable to create a Sales Receipt from the Projects page. You'll have to use the New (+) menu or the Sales window to add the transaction.

 

While we're unable to filter the Sales Receipt in the Transactions page, you can run a Transaction List by Customers. Then customize the report by following these steps:

  1. On the left panel, click Reports.
  2. Select the Report period, and click the Customize button.
  3. Click the Filter drop-down and select Sales Receipt from the Transaction Type drop-down menu.
  4. Choose the project from the Customer drop-down list.
  5. Click Run report.

I agree. I would like to be able to create sales receipt for projects. Let’s make this happen!!!
