Thank you for posting here in the Community, @jamesgibson14.
Generally, if a customer made a payment through a credit card, it takes 1-2 business days to reach your bank. However, bank transfers (ACH) payments can take 2-7 business days. These also vary depending on the following factors:
I recommend waiting for a day or two for the deposits to get posted to your bank. If they're still undeposited, contact our Merchant Services team. One of them can review your account and investigate why you're getting some delays in receiving deposits.

We used to use Intuit Payment Network for payments before QB Pay and the processing time then was not nearly as long as now.
Taking 7-10 business days is not a reasonable amount of time to wait, and given the number of times this question has been asked, it would seem that the policy should be reviewed and changed to be more business friendly and to fund the deposits more quickly.
Please forward to the relevant people to get action.
Thank you for providing some feedback about the QuickBooks processing time.
I'll personally prepare feedback to send to our product engineers about the ability to lessen the process time for Merchant Services. It'd be best if you can also submit a suggestion directly to them by going to the Gear icon and choosing Feedback.
Our Product Development Team reviews all suggestions to determine features or options to be added in updates.

It takes so long so Intuit can earn interest on the "float" - It is as simple as that.
I'm sorry, what? Where did all of the replies go? Last time I checked there were many more replies to this threadmincluding mine, so it appears that someone on the Quickbooks team is deleting things so that they can save face? How about spending that time fixing the problems instead of deleting people's comments??

I'm also feeling quite disappointed by the length of time it takes for deposits to show up in my bank account. I'm currently still waiting to see a deposit I received an email notification about 7 days ago. I also have left my concerns using the feedback link you mentioned. I really hope we all will see a change in your process soon.
I understand your feedback about the payments taking long to get deposited, @CR_DP.
Letting us know what works best for you will show our developers what they need to consider in future product updates.

I’m also frustrated with how long it takes. I’m a freelancer, I wait long enough to be paid in the first place. Also- it says an ETA on when it will be deposited, but this ETA is inaccurate. I currently have invoices that say they are deposited today, yet still no payment. Please fix so these estimates are at least accurate.
I can guide you to the right support, Cplaszenski.
To check the payment that is deposited today, I'd recommend reaching out to our Merchant Service Team. They're able to pull up your account and can further assist you with your concern.

Experiencing a delayed deposit is tough to deal with, Jessiew3st.
We follow the NACHA rules wherein QuickBooks bank transfer (ACH) payment deposits can take 2-7 business days. However, some banks may take longer to verify and process the deposits.
You can check out the Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits your money article for your guidelines.
While processing the payments, we held your deposit if we suspect something unexpected in it. We occasionally review unexpected transactions to help protect you and your customers from any fraudulent activities.
This is why we won’t deposit the money from the specified transactions until we complete our review. After we get all the information from you, we generally complete the review within 2 business days.
I've got an article for more details about the delayed deposit: Why are my funds on hold?.

I understand what your saying but that still doesn’t answer my questions. I have sent the requested documents for the payment that is being delayed and it has been received I’ve gotten an email stating that. So where is my payment, and why couldn’t this “delay” or “your reviewing” be done during the 5-7 days why do you wait until the day of deposit to put a hold on it. Now I’m stuck waiting even
longer for my payment. I’ve already had to wait far longer than any other merchant service payment processor. I’m in need of my payment today I have bills due and was relying on that payment, had I know this would happen or it wouldn’t take forever to even receive it I wouldn’t have used your company. I’m so frustrated and I feel like my rights as a customer are not being followed through with on your end. I need so specific and not just “customer service general” answered thanks

Good day, @rtwoodworks.
I'd like to add some more details about the funding time for QuickBooks Payments.
Funds usually, reach your deposit bank account within 2-3 business days of the transaction. It varies depending on the time of day you enter transactions, which financial institution you choose for transactions to be deposited in, and how long it takes your bank to verify and process electronic deposits.
The approximate wait time for credit card payments to be transferred to your bank would take 5-7 banking days, while ACH deposits may take 7-10 business days.
If the payment is still not deposited within the given length of time, I recommend contacting the QuickBooks Payments Support Phone Team. This team is the best resource for such inquiries, as they're able to request account information while this is a public forum. They'll be able to further assist with determining the details of the transaction and why it hasn't been deposited into your account.
Don't hesitate to reach back out to me if you have additional questions, I'll be right here to help. Have a great day!
The amount of time they take to transfer money is absolutely absurd and there is no excuse for it I’ve been in business for 24 years and have never encountered any Other provider that takes this long to get money into an account all I can think of is they are trying to make money off of holding your money for as long as possible I have not seen a payment go through in sooner than 10 days I will not be using Their service anymore that’s for sure it is ridiculous
I totally understand the impact of any delay in transferring your funds to your business. I'm here to guide you so you'll be able to verify the current status of your customers' payments.

Why would a bank transfer take over 6 days? I've used Zelle, Cash App, even Facebook, and I get the money same or next day. I get deposits for equipment and materials to start jobs, and customers aren't very happy if I have to push the job back, especially since I do A.C. in Florida... Luckily I have money saved and can use my own funds, but this is rediculous. I get payments next day with my Square reader, how is a direct bank transfer so much slower. Paper checks for $4-6k clear in a day, I'll be sure to never make this mistake again.
I have paper checks for $4-6k that clear next day. Zelle, Cash App, even Facebook clear in a day, sometimes same day and those are bank transfer apps.... Frickin rediculous, especially if you need a deposit to get equipment and materials. I do A.C. in Florida, so customers would be irate if I told them the deposit wouldn't clear for a week and you'd have to suffer in the heat. Luckily I have pleanty of funds and can cover it myself for residential stuff, but commercial is a whole different story. Will never make this mistake again...
Wow, I guess I’ve just done my first and last bank transfer. Here I thought it’d be quicker than tracking down a check and all. I guess not. It’s interesting how early in this thread it’s says 2-7 days and then later it’s 7-10. How do you operate a business like that? Like literally how am I supposed to sit here and not have $23,000 that’s being held? How do I pay my bills?
Let me route you to the right support @Jgray76.
I understand how frustrating it is not to have the money you earned due to the delay in the bank transfer. Since we aren't allowed to access customer's accounts and provide personal explanation for sensitive data. I suggest contacting our merchant support team.
This way, they can look into your account and further assist you with this.

Yeah.. getting pretty tired of this delay also. Unbelievable that paypal can deposit in one day and the most recognized name in bookkeeping software cannot figure out how to do that. I'll be shopping around for a solution to this.
This is ridiculous
