Receipts that I attached to transactions are now listed as potential attachments for invoices. How do I hide them? They shouldn't be viewable by other employees on QBO.

Receipts which I attached to banking transactions appear in the list of potential attachments when I go to attach files to invoices. I don't want these docs viewable by other employee users on our account, nor attachable to be potentially sent to customers. How do I hide them, or otherwise delete them en masse? (There are many — for example, some are weekly receipts from the past year...)

Hi beepbeep,

I also like the idea of hiding past attachments. However, this option is not available.

Your employees can filter the Unlinked files when finding attachments for invoices. That way, they can't reuse the ones already attached.

On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend deleting them because this step will also remove them from the transactions. If you wish to do so, you can delete them one by one.

Let me know if you have other questions about attachments.

Thanks for your response, @JessT. So, to clarify, even employees who do not have permissions to see banking activity can view files linked to banking transactions?  This seems like a major security/permissions issue.

You're welcome, beepbeep.

All attached files will be saved in the Attachments section. Currently, we don't have an option to restrict a user from accessing that section. Thank you for your feedback about this matter.

If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to go back to this thread.

I'm also looking for the same issues as you.
