I appreciate your interest in choosing QuickBooks. It's our pleasure to help you in managing your business.
Now let me share some information about the product versions that you may consider transferring your Peachtree data to.
QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based accounting product designed for small businesses. Since it's a cloud-base, you can access it anytime and anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. QuickBooks Desktop version on the other hand, is a software that needs to be installed in a computer or laptop.
Here's an article that provides a great comparison between the two mentioned products. This includes their features and functions: Comparing Quickbooks Online to the QuickBooks Desktop versions.
If you choose QuickBooks Desktop, there is an available conversion tool to help import your data from Peachtree to QuickBooks. Here's an article that will guide you through the steps: Convert from Sage 50 using QuickBooks Conversion Tool.
Get back to me if you have other concerns. I'll be around to answer them all for you. Keep safe and have a good one!
I would recommend migrating to QB Desktop by utilize the trial license.
Once you are happy with the result, you may consider migrating to QBO Plus or Advanced should you manage the inventory item.

Another option, purchase a 3rd party conversion service. They will make your move to QuickBooks as quick and painless as possible by converting all core accounting information. However, since their conversion software needs to talk to the QuickBooks software, they have to work within the limitations it imposes. This means that there are some things you will have to do post-conversion. The following information is not converted:
* Bank Reconciliation (You will need to do a single bank reconciliation after the conversion. They will send you instructions to do this.)
* Paychecks are converted as Journal Entries (Importing Paychecks is not supported by Quickbooks)
* Employee YTD information
* Employee Payroll setup data is not converted (Sick Pay, Vacation, Direct Deposit information, Pay rates, Tax setup including Withholdings, Deductions, etc.)
* Individual employee wage or deduction information
* Custom templates
* Jobs are not attached to transactions
* Budgets
* Fixed Asset Items (This is only applicable if your Sage 50 data file is linked to Sage 50 Fixed Assets)
Work Tickets
* Posting and Non-posting transactions after the current date are not converted
* Closed or partially closed Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Estimates
* Sales Tax items are converted to Quickbooks but Customer Sales Tax defaults are not assigned to customers.
They will try to map every available field in Peachtree to the corresponding field in Quickbooks. In some cases, fields are not compatible and are not transferred over. You will need to manually enter such fields after the conversion. Examples of such fields are vendor default account numbers, preferred vendors for inventory, multiple shipping addresses for customers, and default Customer Sales Tax settings. You may utilize a 3rd party importer tool to do so.
What to expect after the conversion?
* They will send you back a Quickbooks backup file that will restore into a new Quickbooks file on your computer, if you prefer migrating to QB Desktop.
* They will send you a detailed post-conversion checklist to get you up and running in QuickBooks.
* They will send you a report of transactions that failed to import (in most conversions, 100% of the transactions are converted).
* Sometimes the source data file will contain transactions that are allowed in Peachtree but not in QuickBooks. They use standard workarounds to import these transactions into QuickBooks and will send you notes on what you need to do post-conversion to handle such transactions.
* If you are using Assembly Items and/or Advanced inventory, you may need to manually (or utilizea a 3rd party importer tool) to add inventory adjustments to the converted data file to match quantities in Quickbooks with Peachtree. This occurs due to the differences in the way inventory is handled in Quickbooks v/s Peachtree.
So these are the fields from Peachtree Inventory that are used by my customer. Are these fields available in QuickBooks?

Are your client just trading goods or manufaturing ones? QBO Plus and Advanced have inventory tracking. But they will need an inventory app or a manufacturing app to get more features to intragte with QBO.
Hello, @mnicks.
I hope you're having a beautiful day so far. QuickBooks Desktop offers most of the inventory fields you've listed above. The only ones not included are the Inner Pack, Case Pack, Minimum Order, Bin Location, and Dimension. However, you may want to consider Advanced Inventory as an option if you choose Desktop.
As for QuickBooks Online, not all the fields you need are included there either. If you pick the Online program, I recommend integrating with a third-party inventory or manufacturing app like @Fiat Lux - ASIA suggested above. This will allow you to have more features and options that integrate with the program.
