How do I run a report by Service Date? I want to snapshot at the end of my week what we did on each day in that week. I do not need services by invoice as we have services that OCCUR this week that might not get invoiced until next week or month even. I want to look at our production for any specific week (Sunday through Saturday). This will allow us to track how efficient we are EACH week. Weather, breakdowns, travel time, and so many other things effect us and our production every week, and each day in that week, regardless of when we invoice our customers, or get invoiced from our suppliers.

At this time, the only option we have for you is to edit the invoice template by adding the service date column. This way, it will appear in the Display tab when you customize to add this column to your reports.
I'll show you how:
Go to the List menu, then select Templates.
Choose the invoice template you'll want to edit, then select Edit Template from the drop-down menu.
Click Additional Customization, then select the Columns tab.
Put a checkmark in the Service Date section.
Then, follow these steps to add the service date information to your customer's profile:
Click the Customer menu, then select Customer Center.
Double-click the customer name, then go to the Additional Info tab.
Click Define Fields, enter Service Date.
Tick if its Customer, Vendor, or Employee.
Once done, run and customize a report to show the service date on the column. Here's how:
Go to the Reports menu, then select Customers & Receivables.
Choose Transaction List by Customer, then click Customize Report.
Type Service Date and tick the box in the Display tab, then click OK.
