Reports Not Displaying in QB Desktop Mac 2020

Welcome to the Community, @JessReam.

Let's perform some troubleshooting to isolate this behavior with your Reports in QuickBooks Mac 2020. We can begin with a Verify and Rebuild to your data. Verify Data self-identifies the most commonly known data issues within a company file while Rebuild Data self-resolves most data integrity issues that the Verify Data finds. Here's a list of common reasons to use this type of troubleshooting:

  • Fatal errors when you use QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Discrepancies on reports, such as invoices or bills that post with negative values.
  • Deposited payments show up in the Payments to Deposit window.
  • Balance sheet reports do not show all accounts.
  • Names are missing from lists.
  • Transactions are missing.
  • Run a well-data checkup to make sure your company file is error-free.

No worries, you can refer to this Community Article to go through this process with ease: Verify and rebuild data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

After following that article, then you'll be able to run and print reports smoothly. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate and reach back out to me! I'm always here to help you in any way that I can. Have a beautiful day.

Reports Not Displaying in QB Desktop Mac 2020

Thank you so much for the response as well as the article reference.  I ran the 'verify ' and it said all was good and went through the rebuild and verified again, and everything was confirmed as good. BUT when i went to run reports again, I am still getting nothing.

Would the fact that I am running a trial version be the issue? I wanted to see if this was a program that would work well for me before I spent the money to purchase the desktop version, so it would be strange if the trial version wouldn't allow me to do this.

I'd appreciate performing the steps given by my colleague, @JessReam.

The possible cause of the issue could be how QuickBooks interacts with the system of your computer. In this case, I highly suggest contacting our QuickBooks Technical Support Team. They have the ability to check the configuration settings of the trial software.

  1. Go to the Help icon and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Provide a brief description of your concern, then select Continue.
  4. You can either select Message an agent or Get a callback.

Also, you may want to consider browsing our QuickBooks Desktop user guide to get tips on how to set up the system.

To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, check out our support hours.
