Let me help you run the report you need in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
You can pull up the Custom Transaction Detail report and sort the date based on your need. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Go to Reports at the top.
- Select Custom Reports.
- Choose Transaction Detail.
- Click the Customize Report button.
- In the Display tab, set the date range.
- Go to the Filters tab.
- Enter Transaction Type in the Search Filters field.
- Highlight the Transaction Type and choose Invoice in the drop-down arrow.
- Click on OK to close the Modify Report window.
In the Custom Transaction Detail Report window, click the Sort By drop-down menu and select Date. And if you want to change the ascending order of the transactions based on date, click the Sort icon.
