I am trying to compile a list of addresses for customers who have bought our product through Amazon and other marketplaces. The problem is that for our EDI to work we had to put certain information in the ship to box preceding the customer's mailing address. Since the report only allows you to choose ship to address line , ship to address line 2, ship to city, ship to state, and ship zip, I end up with all the information except the street name and number. Is there something I am missing in order to include more lines in the shipping address in this report.?Other reports like customer list have more ship to address line options, however, it only displays the main customer Amazon's ship to address. Why wouldn't this option be available in the report that specifically is for addresses?
When integrating the Sales by Ship To Address data with EDI in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), it only uses the primary ship to address. As a workaround, you can export the report to excel and from there, manually add the street name and number. To do so, please follow the steps below:
Go to the Reports menu.
Select Sales and choose Sales by Ship To Address.
Click the Excel drop-down arrow and pick Create New Worksheet.
Once exported, enter the necessary information needed for the EDI.
