Sales Tax Liability Report is only showing sales tax at 8% and isn't showing 5.5% sales tax

I understand how useful it is for you to see all of the tax liability figures when running the Sales Tax Liability report. I've got you covered.

When running the Sales Tax Liability report, did you select All in the Tax Agency field? You may have selected only 8% that's why the 5.5% sales tax isn't displayed.

If this option is selected, I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online account through a private/incognito window. Since you may have encountered a cache issue that resulted in unexpected system behavior. This mode can help resolved some browser-related issues as it doesn't use the existing cache files.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

• Safari: Command + Shift + N 
• Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P 

Once logged in, run the Sales Tax Liability report. If it displays 8% and 5.5%, let's clear the cache to remove the stored internet files.

If private browsing doesn't work, I recommend that you use one of the other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure QuickBooks experience.

Unfortunately for me, I do indeed have "all" tax agencies selected and it looks the same on multiple browsers, even incognito/private windows.

At this point, I would recommend reaching out to our QBO Support so they can check why you only see the liabilities for the 8% rate. They are open on weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
