It seems that a file was not attached, PGrossman.
I've checked for similar reported issues on our list and didn't find any. We can try checking the Report period and the Accounting method used in your transaction report.
A browser-related issue might also have caused the unusual response of the reports. We can verify that by logging in to your QuickBooks Online account through a private browser (incognito). You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P
Pull up the Sales Tax Liability report and compare it to the Transaction report again. If the amounts are correct, you can switch back to the main browser and clear the cache. You can also use other supported browsers if you get the same thing.
