Sent the request link to my contractors to fill out their personal info. Some of them it worked and some of them it is saying expired and it won't allow me to resend?

As an initial troubleshooting step, I recommend clearing the internet cache before attempting to resend the link. The cache can become bogged down with older data, which can potentially cause performance errors in QuickBooks Online. Once this is completed, you can try to resend the link to your contractor. This can be done by:

 

1. Clicking the Workers tab in the left navigation bar.

2. Make sure Contractors is selected at the top of the page.

3. Click the contractor's name.

4. Choose to Send a reminder.

If you find that you're still unable to resend the link, you may want to call in to speak with the Support Team. Agents have the ability to look in depth into your account and determine what's causing this issue. Contractors not being able to access the info link may be related to a known issue. The engineers are aware and are working to get it fixed. An agent will be able to add you to the list of affected companies. Once you're added, you'll receive email notifications on the status and fix. The number to speak with an agent is 1-800-488-7330. The most up-to-date contact information can be found here: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact. I would advise the agent that you believe this may be connected to investigation #7699.

 

In the mean time, you'll still be able to manually add contractor information in their profile. Here's how:

 

1. Click the Workers tab in the left navigation bar.

2. Select Contractors at the top of the page.

3. Choose the contractors name from the list.

4. Click the Waiting for info link.

5. Select the Contractor type.

6. Enter the information and click Save.
