Since this recent update I see random malfunctions in the mobile app. Today there’s no way to create invoices, and I can’t import customers from my contacts. Help!

Yes, I can go to the desktop version but that’s very inconvenient for me as I’m a mobile business. Please, if anyone had found a way to address the above problems, post below. Thnx.

Since this recent update I see random malfunctions in the mobile app. Today there’s no way to create invoices, and I can’t import customers from my contacts. Help!

In the meantime, we can take certain steps to eliminate common problems that may arise while using the application. To begin with, we can clear the app data to refresh it and eliminate any errors that could cause the issues mentioned above.

 

To start, please ensure you're connected to the internet then perform the steps below:

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Tap the Menu ☰ and click the Help & Feedback.
  2. Click the Refresh Data.
  3. To confirm, click Refresh.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Select the menu at the top right and choose Settings.
  2. Then select Refresh Data and choose Yes.

 

If the same thing happens while waiting for your verification of what OS you’re using, you can temporarily create your invoices and import the following customer data using the desktop version.

I’m on OS 16.3.1. The directions you’ve posted on clearing the app data is not possible in the app. There’s only a Help section in the bottom of the ALL Menu options. Upon selecting Help I get Articles and Support and Ask QB assistant a question. 
I do not see Invoices, as in create an invoice, anywhere in the app. I’ve even tried selecting a customer and clicking on the +. Invoice was the first bubble in the Quick Actions area in the app.
