I can help you fix the error you have with your Statement Writer, @time sheet.

Here are the recommended solutions that'll help you fix QuickBooks Statement Writer (QSW):

  • Make sure to keep your software up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes. You can press F2 to check your current version and release. Check this link for more information: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
  • Once you’re done, download the latest version of QuickBooks Statement Writer (QSW). Just go to the Help Center and then Update.
  • Try changing the regional settings in Windows. See this article for detailed guidance: Change regional settings in Windows.
  • Check this Microsoft article and make sure that it’s compatible with your Excel.
  • Change the way you access the .QSM file using a different company file. If the file opens, try some basic data damage troubleshooting on your company file.Run the QuickBooks Statement Writer Diagnostics. You can do it from the Statement Writer Welcome Page.

For detailed guidance, check the following article: Fix problems with Statement Writer

Let me know if there's anything that I can help. I'm always happy to help. Keep safe!

In a telephone conversation with Intuit we did all that.  Was told I had to reinstall excel 2013.  However IT dept says can’t do that because of interference with outlook.
