I am printing a non-profit financial. Under the temp restricted accounts there are sub accounts. When I print a balance sheet I want the total to be in the parent account and not print the subcatergories. I can't use the collapse feature because I have other sub items in the assets that I want displayed. I tried choosing the accounts I wanted printed but that didn't work. Does anybody have a suggestion?
I have a workaround that you can apply when printing the balance sheet that contains that total amount of all the parent accounts.
You can click on the button beside the parent account to remove the subcategories from the report. This way, you'll be able to print all the total amount of the parent account. Please refer to the screenshot below for your reference.
