You're correct. QuickBooks populates the reports in rows and columns like Excel so you can easily customize the data you want to view. While we're unable to suggest what third-party application to use, you'll want to visit our QuickBooks App Center to find a report writer that best suits your business needs. You can follow these steps too in searching the app within your QuickBooks account:
- Login to qbo.intuit.com.
- Select Apps from the sidebar menu.
- Go to the Find Apps tab.
- Enter "Reports" in the search bar or click the Browse category button to filter the results.
