Buy nowI’ve just realized that all transactions from March 21 through November 5 of 2025 aren’t showing up. Any idea why or how to fix it?
Hi there, @BelindaTheBOLD. When you first connect your bank to QuickBooks Self-Employed, the system typically imports only the most recent 30 to 90 days of transactions.
If you’d like to add older transactions, you’ll need to download them from your bank as a CSV file and then import them into your account under Settings > Import transactions.
You can view this helpful article for the full instructions on how to add older transactions: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Additionally, once you’re done importing, you can refer to this article as a guide in categorizing your transactions: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
You’re welcome to reach out at any time if you have further questions or concerns.
I’ve been using this program for about 8 years. I haven’t changed anything in my account and it’s not letting me upload transactions from my accounts. Thanks for the suggestions but I’m still stumped.
Hi there, Belinda. Even if you haven't changed anything, banks frequently update their security protocols, which requires you to re-authorize the connection with QuickBooks. Or your browser may be storing old data that prevents the upload from completing.
Before we proceed, have you encountered any error messages? This information will help us troubleshoot the issue more effectively.
To re-establish a connection between your bank and QuickBooks and ensure your current data continues to flow in QuickBooks Self-Employed, head to the Gear icon in the top right corner and, under Transactions, select Manage accounts, then click Refresh all.
Also, try uploading in an incognito or private window to see if your upload failure is due to a program error or your browser's saved data.
We'll provide ongoing assistance if you have any further concerns.
