Trying to link my bank account to Quick Books, but its saying my customer ID is to long. I have called my bank and my customer ID is right. so what should I do?

enter the customer ID number by hand, be careful to not hit any strange keys when doing so

if it still says the number is too long, then you can not connect and can not use download banking

fields in QBO are fixed in length and if your number is longer than the field, nothing can be done about it
