Two independent contractors I paid in 2018 have (deleted) next to their name. Why and why are they not available for searching Vendors?

Let me explain why they're not available when you search for them, Michael_d_stief.

These vendors are inactivated; that's why you're unable to find them. Their transactions or data won't get deleted, though.

You'll want to activate these contractors, so you can easily search for them. Here's how:

  1. Click Expenses.
  2. Go to the Vendors tab.
  3. Click the Gear icon above the ACTION column, then tick the Include inactive box.
  4. Click Make active to the inactive vendor.
