Up until a few weeks ago I had the ability to tag expenses. I'm no longer able to see tags and all of the tags I've spoent hours entering are no longer visible as well.

Cache boosts browser's background processes. However, it can also cause display issues when piled up on your browser. Here's how to get rid of any-cache related concerns:

  1. Open a private browser and log in to your QBO account. It uses but doesn't store cache.
  2. If that works, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.
  3. Other supported browsers are good alternatives, too. Each of them uses a different cache.

I have the exact same issue and cache-clearing/different browsers does nothing. It seems to me that the tagging feature has been completely removed from QBO. Extremely frustrating as it's something I now rely on and would force me to explore other options.

With instances that we don't see the tag feature, this usually means that the account is new, and the tag feature hasn't been included yet. Since you're actively using this feature and no longer seeing it, I recommend contacting our technical support team. They have the tools available to review your account securely and will be able to investigate the issue of its strange behavior. I've included the steps below to contact support. 

 

1. Sign in to QuickBooks. 

2. Click Help (?).

 

 

3. Select Talk to a human

 

 

4. Hit Talk to a human again. 

 

 

5. Enter your concerns. Then hit, I still need a human

 

 

6. Click on Contact Us, then choose the method to contact support (Chat, Callback, Etc).

Just to follow up, I found that I simply had to reactivate it Quickbooks Labs. The toggle had flipped to off. I switched it back on and have complete functionality again. Thanks!
