We deposit checks from various clients in one deposit. Once I split those deposits in my registry, how do I apply those payments to the various customer invoices?

We deposit checks from various clients in one deposit. Once I split those deposits in my registry, how do I apply those payments to the various customer invoices?

Hello ron40, 

 

We will convert the deposit as an available credits. Then, we can link the invoices to the lump deposit

 

First, let's make sure that we use the Accounts receivable (A/R) in the split. Edit the transaction from your register then add A/R on each line, as well, as the customer's name.

Then, this will create a credit balance to your customers. Now, we can apply these credits to the open invoices.
