Hi there, libby5.

Yes, you should receive an email within 1 hour after any transactions from QuickBooks Payments. Some ACH emails you usually receive are:

  • Approval emails
  • User invitations
  • Confirmation code
  • Notifications from a transaction, deposit, or recurring charge (ReBill)
  • Forms requested from the Merchant Service Center (MSC)

Once you don’t receive an email within an hour, it might be caused by any of the following:

  • The email was moved to your Junk or Spam folder.
  • You use a custom email domain (example: [email address removed]) or an email client (Outlook, Exchange, AOL, Thunderbird, etc.).
  • Your internet service or domain provider blocks the QuickBooks Payments email address.

To ensure that you will receive ACH emails from QuickBooks Payments, you need to add Intuit’s email addresses to your contact list.

Here's how:

  1. Add the following email addresses to your contact list:
    • [email address removed]
    • [email address removed]
    • [email address removed]
    • [email address removed]
    • [email address removed]
    • [email address removed]
    • [email address removed]

    2. Send an email to any of the email addresses. This helps your internet service or domain provider recognize it as a friendly contact.

If the issue persists, please refer to this article and follow the steps three: Unable to receive Intuit email.

If the issue still continues to occur, it's possible that the email notification for ACH payment on your merchant account was turned off. You'll need to check and verify this through the merchant center.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to https://merchantcenter.intuit.com.
  2. Under Account, select Settings & Alerts.
  3. Choose Yes under Receive Credit card Deposit Notification.

Please check this article to see steps on how to resolve the issue once the ACH payments or fees in QuickBooks Payments is rejected: Fix rejected ACH payments or fees in QuickBooks Payments. This also provides different R## codes and their meaning

If I can be of additional assistance with payment notifications, please fill me in. I'm still here to help you out.
