What happened to the search box under Customers?

Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to refresh QuickBooks and get the search box working fine again.

There's no reported update regarding the search box feature under the Customers tab. You can still access and make use of that feature as it was. 

If you're unable to access it, you can perform the basic troubleshooting by using a private browser to check if the issue is browser related. Please follow the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P.
  • For Safari, hold down Command+Shift+N.

After that, try logging in to your QuickBooks Online account then locate and utilize the search box. If it works using the private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache and cookies to remove temporary internet files.

By executing the steps above, you'll be able to make use of the search box feature in QuickBooks.
