What if your Expense doesn't show up in your expenses but it is in your history?

I'm adding new expenses but when I do they are not showing up over in my expenses. But when I review my history they do show that i but them in. How do I get them to convert. I do know I am doing it correct because if I add and close it everytime it will add correctly

If add and close works, then it sounds like another bug in QBO
