Currently, QuickBooks Online does not have a built-in feature that allows you to directly add calls and emails when asking about customer payments and responses.
However, you can use Invoice notes as a workaround to record any relevant communication with customers regarding their payments. This will help you keep track of all interactions and maintain comprehensive payment records.
While the Customer notes, are intended for internal purposes only. As a result, they will not be visible when you run the audit log.



Additionally, you can create and upload custom form styles to add necessary information to your sales forms in QBO: Add custom fields to sales forms and purchase orders in QuickBooks Online.
