Currently, we haven't received any reports about the single-use activity sheets feature outage. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed pages, thus causing some unusual behavior of the system. You can perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate this issue and get back to business in tracking the time activity in no time.
Let's start by logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
Once signed in, go to the + New button, and select the Single time activity feature under the Employees column. If it works, return to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if the error continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
Additionally, QBO provides reports (i.e. Recent/Edited Time Activities) to let you effectively track the time activities in your account. You can refer to this article for the complete list: Set up time tracking (Access Time Tracking reports section). It also includes steps about making time always billable.
You can keep me posted on how it goes. Please feel free to comment below if you have other feature and payroll concerns in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
What you suggested all sounds good in theory, but the problem is the Single activity time sheet option has disappeared, so I can't select it. In other words, I go to New +, and under employees there are only 2 options: "payroll" and "time entry." Single Activity Time Sheet used to be an option there. It is all of a sudden no longer there. I tried the trouble shoot you suggested. It is still not available. Time Entry does not offer the same type of billing, but merely allows me to keep track of an employee's time - I do not have an employee, I am a solo practitioner. Moreover, since Single Activity Time Sheet used to be an option and I billed quite a bit under it, I tried running reports to take a look at the ones I've already done and maybe I can get into it via a back door. The system provides me with an error (I've attached a screen shot of the error) and I can't even review the time activities already completed. This has been going on since at least Thursday the 17th when I tried to input recent time activities. That night (Thursday) I spent 40 minutes on the phone with a customer service agent who told me there must be some outage and it couldn't be resolved. This is crucial to my business that I be able to use this feature and I am wasting tons of time.

Thanks for your prompt response and adding details, @frustrated15.
I appreciate you for following the recommended steps provided by my colleague, @Rea_M.
I want to make sure that we can fix it as soon as possible. Since the troubleshooting steps didn't work to see the Single Activity Time Sheet option, I recommend contacting our Tech Support team to investigate this hurdle.
They have the tools to take some screenshots to document this and create a ticket to directly escalate it to our product engineers and fix it in time. Also, make sure to ask and save the case number when you need time to follow up.
Here's how to reach them:
Also, you have mentioned earlier that it merely allows you to track employee's time. May I know if you have subscribed TSheets? If so, you can contact TSheets Support if some features aren't working correctly like before so you can let them know.
Please know that we have cut our support hours due to Covid-19. Our phone and chat support is available weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM.
Feel free to place a comment if you have additional questions. I'll wait for your reply here. Stay safe and bless you always!
Were you able to get help with this? If not, use the Feedback Button in the Time Entry workspace. It will send me a message and I can take you out of the new experience.
Thanks,
Jen
