When creating custom invoices/estimates, should I go with the online Custom Form Style option or Import Custom Invoice option? Is one more customizable?

I am trying to create a more professional looking template for both invoices and estimates and I want to know if the online template builder is better or the import custom template option is better. Also, are there additional online templates I can find through the online builder option?

Hi there, r-stevenson.

Good to see you here in the QuickBooks Community. I'm here to help provide some information about customizing template in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QBO have the option where you can customize a standard template which you can use for all transactions type such as invoices, estimates, and sales receipts. You can personalize the design, make some changes on the content, and even set a default message that sends with your transaction.

While the Import Style option let you import custom form style in DOCX format from Word.

Hello JanyRoseB,

Thank you for your response and links. I do have one follow-up question. Is it possible to customize purchase orders as well?
