Good day, gbemandrel.

I'll be glad to assist you with any concerns you may have.

I just need more details about your issue. What do you mean by overriding the bank numbers or what numbers are you referring to? Also, I'd like to know which part of QuickBooks you're having problems with.

Any additional details or screenshot would be a big help.

I'll keep an eye on this post. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

When I went to review the items that needed to be put into a name paid too or what category, for some reason, when I put in a name of a business, it then asked me "do you want to put in the last amount paid?" If yes, it will put in the last amount I paid them.  If not, then it sticks to the original banking numbers sent over to quickbooks via my bank.

I didn't understand that until when putting the CPA category in, and I paid them $1375 in february, and when it asked if I wanted to have the last known amount entered and I said yes, the program then changed the amount to $1825 which was last years numbers and I hit save.  Now that I noticed that, I think I messed up that one and also a few and that made my numbers way off from true numbers to "posted" numbers.

how do I see the treue numbers posted from my bank and received by quickbooks and compare them to the ones that are entered and saved into the program. So this way I can revert to the original number from my bank instead of one that is totally incorrect.

Thank you for the details, gbemandrel.

You can check the Audit history of the transactions to see if we can pull up their original amount data. To do this, simply edit each of them, click More at the bottom of the opened transaction, and choose Audit history. If you don't see the original amount, you'll gonna have to pull up the data from transactions on your bank's website or statement.

Let us know if you have more questions about your transactions.
