When I enter a name of a Payee in the Payee field, the name replicates for every expense. How can I change the Payee name so that it is not the same for each entry?

Thanks for visiting our forum. I’d be more than glad to share some insights about the auto-recall feature in QuickBooks Online.

 

Since the Payee name automatically populates your expense transactions, it's possible that you enabled the Pre-fill forms automation. Let me guide you on how to turn this preference off:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Accounts and Settings.
  3. Tap the Advanced menu then hit the Automation section.
  4. Uncheck the Pre-fill forms with previously entered content box.
  5. Click Save then Done.
