You'll want to ensure you've updated the Customer-facing address in QuickBooks Online (QBO), so the new address will appear in your invoices. Let me guide you on how.
Your customer-facing address is where your customers can find you. When sending forms in QBO, you have the option of using your company address or entering a different one. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
- Go to the Company tab.
- Click the Customer-facing address section.
- Enter your updated address.
- Click Save, and then Done.
You may also see if the new address is reflected in the templates you made. To do that:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
- Locate the template and click Edit.
- In the Content tab, click the Header of the sample form.
- In the Header section, click + Address. Review the address and click Done.
When you receive a payment from a customer, you'll have to record it in QBO to mark the invoice as paid. Otherwise, the invoice will appear in your reports as open and unpaid. It ensures that your books are balanced in specific ways.
