When i got the online system the chart was arranged in a certain way.how ever i dont know what i did and it got disorganized i want to rearrange it back to the old way

You can change the order of your Chart of Accounts by clicking the NUMBER, NAME, or TYPE column header.

 

 

In addition, Here's an article you can read to learn more about your Chart of Accounts: Create a new account in your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

i apologise for the delayed response .we i clicked the type column the chart was able to go the its original format..thanxs alot
