Good day, @cody6.
Allow me to share some information about inputting an expense with QuickBooks Mobile app.
QuickBooks Mobile App is a simplified version of QuickBooks Online. When entering an expense, the payment method that you can select are Credit Card, Check, and Other. Credit Card transactions will be converted as a Credit Card Credit, the Check transactions will remain as checks, and transactions under Others will be converted to an expense.

To better enter an expense, you can use the web version of QBO. Simply open a browser like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox, and log in to your QBO account.

Hello,
I'm not following the logic on your response. When I input the payment type in the app it doesn't transfer anything to the online version and thus is blank. This is no bueno when reconciling the transaction doesn't show up unless you manually update the payment type which is redundant work.
I understand how this impacts your other business tasks,
It's best to reach out to our Customer Support Team. They can investigate this behavior why the payment method isn't showing on the browser platform.
