Hi there, @wandarnold.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. The ads in QuickBooks are designed to guide and suggest you how to optimize your QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience. Since they're affecting your navigation experience, I recommend clicking on the X or No, thanks button. This will prevent the pop-ups from showing up again.

Once done, you now create an invoice to your customer. Let me guide you how:

  1. Go to the New (+) icon on the upper right side.
  2. Click Invoice under Customers
  3. Choose a customer's name and email.
  4. Complete the required information.
  5. Hit Save and close

For the detailed steps about the process, check out this article: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online

You can always have an option to print and email the invoice from the Invoice page. Also, you can access customer reports from the Reports menu. For more information, browse this article: Run reports

Let me know if there's anything else you need. I'm always here to help. Take good care, wandarnold.

Yes I would normally click on the X or No Thank you.  But those options are not there.

Thanks for getting back to us, @wandarnold.

You can press the Esc button on your keyboard if you were unable to see these options on your screen.

If the issue persists, I recommend performing some troubleshooting steps that can help to isolate this. To start, log into your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. Your regular browser's internet files might have caused this unexpected behavior while using QuickBooks.

Open a supported browser, and follow the specific hotkey:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  •   Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.
  •   Microsoft Edge: Press CTRL + Shift + P.
  •   Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.

If this resolves the issue, clear your regular browser's cache. It helps load a new cache that boosts the browser's performance.

Also, you can switch to another supported browser.

If you want to change your marketing preferences, you can go under Communications with Intuit section in Company settings of Account and Settings in the Gear icon.

You can always leave a message or tag me (@Jovychris_A) if you need more assistance. I'll be happy to help. Have a good one!
