Where the heck are previous years W-2's now?

I want to make sure you're able to view the previous W-2 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

All the W-2 forms sent through QBO will show under Filing History. You can access and print the forms that show through this section.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Taxes menu, then select the Payroll Tax.
2. Click the Annual Forms link on the Forms section.
3. On the Annual Tax Forms window, choose either All employees or specific employee from the drop-down menu.
4. Choose W-2, Copies B, C & 2, and it’ll route you to the Printable Employee Copies: Form W-2 page.
5. Pick the appropriate period from the drop-down, then tap View.

If you want to view previously submitted W-2 forms (filed outside QuickBooks), I'd suggest calling our Phone Support Team. They can pull up your information in a secure environment and help you view or print the W-2 form you need.

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Help menu, then choose Contact Us. 
2. Type your concern in the box and hit Let's talk. 
3. Choose either Get a call or Start a chat. 

    4.Complete the needed information, then submit the request. 

Ensure to call our support with the business hours to guarantee we address your concern immediately.

However, if you're an employee and want to access your prior W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce, these will not be available on the website.
