You can send an invoice with sales commission in QBO, mcmiranda.
Let's create an item for sales commission. Then, add it as another line item when creating an invoice. We can just update the price/amount of it when adding it on the invoice. These are the steps to follow:
- Go to Sales tab and select Products and Services.
- Click New and select either Non-inventory or Service.
- You can enter Sales Commission as the Name. Make sure to check the I sell this product/service to my customers. box.
- Put zero as the Sales price/rate and select an Income account.
- Hit Save and close.
Once done, let's create an invoice. Enter all details needed and add the sales commission item. Let's manually calculate the amount and update it in the Amount field. You can now send it to your client.
