Why can't I add anymore expenses? I can type the vendor but cant save it. Is there a limit of how many I can do a day, which doesn't make sense?

Hi @idealfactory2019,

 

There's no limit in creating transactions in QuickBooks Online and haven't received any issues today about it. Let's do basic troubleshooting to see if it's just some browser related. I suggest using a different browser to see if it works. If it does, we can go back to your default browser and clear your browser's cache and cookies. Once done, you can now create your expense transaction and make sure to enter all the necessary information and Save.

I’m not able to add new vendors to my Quickbooks intuit I online. Regardless how short the vendor name is , I.e. 2 letters, I get the message that it’s too long.

i can add any personal

information of the vendor either. It does not save.

We haven't received any reports similar to yours, Evomdorp.

 

Aside from using a different browser and clearing the cache, you can open QuickBooks Online using an incognito window. This is another way for us to know if it's a web issue. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

From there, you can try to add the vendor.

 

If you're still unable to save it, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support so an agent will take a better look at it. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Unable to add vendor" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback
