Why can you have an apostrophe in a Vendor Name field, but you cannot use an apostrophe in the Vendor Search field?

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. Allow me to address your concern, so let me get this straightened out.

I've replicated this on my QuickBooks Online (QBO) sample file, and I'm having the same result which I'm not able to search a name or details with an apostrophe. In this case, I recommend sending feedback directly to our product developers for consideration in the future update. 

Here's how you can send feedback:

1. Click the Gear Icon and select Feedback.
2. Select Next, and choose Feedback under Category option. 
3. Select Save.
