Why do my estimates look different compared to invoices

Let me hare some information about estimates, northcosoftwash-.

We creating an estimate when you want to give your customer a quote, bid, or proposal for work you plan to do. The sales form looks similar to an invoice however it has a different purpose to help you start discussing details with your customer. When the work is done and you're ready to invoice your customer, just convert the estimate to an invoice so you don't enter it twice in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To learn more about estimates, check out the Create and send estimates in QuickBooks Online article.

After a customer accepts your estimate, you can easily turn it into an invoice. Follow the steps and details in the Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online article.  If you only want to request partial payments, send your customer a progress invoice. Visit our Sales and customers page for more insights about managing your company's income and customers.

Feel free to reply to this post if you have any questions about QuickBooks or if you are referring to something else. I'll get back to you. Take care always.
