Why does my QB keep telling me to update my credit card information when I have already updated it at least 6 times?

Hello there, @jillys119.

When updating credit card information in QuickBooks Desktop, make sure the changes sync into your Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPS) to prevent the update message from showing up.

To do that:

  1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com. Or learn more about signing in.
  2. Find your app or subscription in the Products & Services list.
  3. Select Details.
  4. In the Billing Information section, find Payment Method, then hit on Edit.
  5. Update your information.
  6. Press Save and Close.

Here's a link that contains a short video tutorial on how to perform the process: Change your QuickBooks Desktop payment method

Once done, I recommend updating your QuickBooks to the latest release so it'll refresh your data.

Please take the steps below on how to do that:

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks.
  2. Choose the information that needs to be updated.
  3. Refer to the Update Now tab.
  4. Select Get Updates to start the download.

I've attached a sample snips below for visual reference:

When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks then accept the option to install the new release if prompted.

If the message continues to appear after doing this, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to pull your account and help change the billing details.

To reach them:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Tap the Contact us button.

I'll be around to help if you have any other questions. Just let me know by leaving a reply below. Have a lovely day!
