It's possible that at the time you signed up for QuickBooks Online (QBO) you were given discounts that you can enjoy for a period of time. After this expires, your subscription rate goes back to its' regular rate. You can check out your subscription rate and charges, here's how:
- Click the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings.
- Click Billing Subscription.
Also, other possible reasons why your rate is higher than you expected.
- You are currently using Payroll.
- Sales tax is added to the base subscription price.
- You recently upgraded from Simple Start/Simple Start to Essentials, or from Essentials to Plus.
However, if you didn't get any of those possible reasons above, I suggest contacting our support team so they'll be able to check the specific charge in your account. They also have the tools to pull up your account securely.

- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Go to Help (?).
- Select Contact Us.
- Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.

- Get a callback from the next available expert.
