Why is is taking so long for Estimates, Purchase orders and invoices to arrive via email to customers? Should it take 5 - 45 min?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. 

 

Emails sent from QuickBooks Online are sent right away, the customer should receive as a normal as they would if you emailed them outside of the program. If you're having some delayed issues, it could be for the following reasons:

 

  • You recently imported data from QuickBooks Desktop.
  • The emails could be going into your customer's junk/spam folder.
  • You may need the hostnames and IP addresses added to your outgoing mail servers.
